Looking Back at 2010 and Forward to 2011

I don't know about everyone else, but 2010 was a pretty awesome year for me.

While I only achieved two of my 2010 goals, the ones that were crossed off where pretty major:

My goals for the year:

1. Be able to do chest push ups on my toes.
2. Carrying over from last year - loose 5 kgs.
3. Pass Japanese Language Proficiency Test (at the end of the year).
4. 禁則事項です.

Goals I didn't even consider because I'd break it on day one:
1. Sleep earlier.

Something I wish would somehow fall into my lap this year:
1. Funds to go visit my brother and various assorted friends in the UK ._.;;

I guess I'll be carrying over the ones I didn't get around to.

Actually, I like meteordust's year in review meme, so I'm going to "yoink" it:

1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
Went to London!

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?>

16. What song will always remind you of 2010?
For Good - Wicked.

It's a pretty melancholic tune to summarise an awesome year, but there's a reason for it that I won't really go into :>

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? - Happier.
ii. thinner or fatter? - Depends on your definition of "fatter". I didn't meet my 5kg goal that's for sure XD

36. Who was the best new person you met?
My White Mage.

37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2010:
Nothing major to note.

38. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
I Like London in The Rain

Well, actually, it wasn't raining all the time. There was only really one day where it poured down hard enough to get an umbrella out. The rest of the time it was bloody cold (for someone who grew up in Sydney/Manila), or grey or annoyingly drizzly.

I guess it's pretty easy to see what memory dominated 2010...
